Professional and Compassionate Care

Rivergum Referral Services is a veterinary centre based in Perth, Western Australia. With highly skilled and experienced veterinary and nursing staff and advanced in-house diagnostic and surgical capabilities we are committed to providing the finest care possible for our patients.

Dr. Neil Gibson and Dr. Fiona Haining founded Rivergum Referral Services in 2004, offering surgical and neurological referral services, and were joined by Dr Tom Hill in March 2008.

As a referral veterinary practice, we work closely with our colleagues in general practice who refer patients to us for assessment and management of complex cases or when more advanced diagnostic or treatment procedures may be required.  Your general practitioner remains involved in your pet’s care following referral and is kept updates with diagnostic test results and / or treatment plans.

We understand how stressful it can be when your pet is injured or unwell so, in addition to our medical expertise, was aim to provide a friendly and compassionate service so that your visit to us is a positive experience for both you and your pet.

Rivergum Referral Services is dedicated to providing the best care possible, including providing compassionate care for our patients, and maintaining thorough communication with referring veterinarians and their clients – relationships we value. Our strength lies with the clinical expertise and diagnostic knowledge of our specialists, as well as the dedication and experience of our staff.
